| Upcoming Trainings |
A new year coming and some new trainings for us
all!
January 3rd is going to be on future plannings for
US. More specifically, retirement planning. We
have a representative coming from Capital
Communications Federal Credit Union coming to
explain what is out there, the differences, and
what each can do for you. Even if you think
you've got a good handle on things, come check
this out anyway!
February 13 is going to be on Tax Prepartion.
Mike Van Heusen will be coming to make sure we are
ready for the biggest headache we face every
year!
March 13, is something completely different. We
have a representative coming from the Department
of Missing and Exploited Children to talk about
Sexual Predators and how to keep the children in
our care safe.
All of these trainings will be taking place at 319
Broadway in Menands. Please RSVP to the email
address. It will mean that we're less likely to
call you during nap time to see if you're coming!

| Fund Raising |
Help the Capital District Family Day Care
Association raise money for expanding and moving
out on our own! In order to keep membership dues
low and in order to meet the needs of the
Association and the providers themselves, we've
decided to do fundraising! Currently we meet in
Menands which we know is not convenient for
everyone. In order to rent space somewhere in the
middle, we need the funds for room rental and
insurance. So visit here to purchase letters from
Santa and don't forget to pass this information on
to your own child care families, your own family
members, and friends!

| Who has availability? |
We've all had it happen! There you are with all
your slots full and people call you that you have
to turn away. Then you've had the opposite -
you've had openings and no one's calling you! So
let's help each other out. If you have an
opening, just respond to this post with whatage
group you have availability in, where you're
located, either your name or your daycare name,
and some way people can contact you.
